A Christmastide Message

Brothers and sisters, the Incarnation is amongst us once more. The Word has taken on flesh indeed! And the darkness - no matter what it is - shall never overcome the one True Light, which shines ever new and ever bright this Christmas! Rejoice and encounter once again the Christ child in our midst!

Those of us who have walked in darkness have indeed encountered a great light, an inexhaustible radiant beam! But I must ask, do you see it? Do you see ‘God and sinners reconciled’ and the ‘Word of our Father now in flesh appearing’, for this is the meaning of the Incarnation. God became man and dwelt among us and for us, restoring and reconciling us to Himself! Thanks be to God!

May our hearts be overflowing with thanksgiving and praise, and may we, like Our Lady, ponder ‘all these things’ in our heart of hearts, glorifying God always, even to the end of the ages.

Laudate Dominum omnes gentes! Laudate eum, omnes populi!

Merry Christmas!
